OUR STORY
Country Trail pups is a small, family-owned breeding program located on 11 beautiful acres in Lancaster, Minnesota. We raise our Goldendoodles and Poodles right in our home, where every puppy is surrounded by love attentive care, and the everyday sight and sounds of family and life.
My name is Tricia, and my journey into breeding began in 2018 with our first mama, Scarlet. After more than 20 years as a hairstylist and salon owner, health challenges led me toward a new chapter that allowed me to remain home with my family. With the guidance of an experienced breeder and a deep love for dogs, Country Trail Pups was born.
From the moment our puppies arrive, I am devoted to their health, comfort, and development. They receive hands-on care, early socialization, grooming experiences, enrichment, and a gentle introduction to kennel and potty-training routines. As their personalities begin to emerge, I help each family choose a puppy whose temperament will be a wonderful fit for their home and lifestyle.
Our faith is at the heart of our family and everything we do. We believe in sharing God's love by bringing kindness, hope and joy to others - and few things bring more joy than the unconditional love of a dog.
Our relationship with our families does not end when a puppy goes home. We are here to offer guidance, encouragement, and continued support throughout your puppy's life. It is an honor to raise these precious puppies and help them find the loving families they were meant for.
OUR KIDS
OLIVIA PATRICIA
Olivia, 23, is our oldest. She graduated from college last spring with a degree in criminal justice and is now working full-time. We are excited to watch her journey unfold and know that God has wonderful plans for her future. Olivia loves to travel and has been blessed to visit Europe several times over the past few years. She was once my go-to-helper for our website and photo editing, and she has now passed those skills along to her sister. Even as she builds a life of her own, she is always willing to offer guidance whenever I need her. We are so thankful and proud to call her ours!
EVY LYNN
Evy,19, is our middle child. She just began college this fall, we are excited to see what God has in store for her future in the medical field. She is the helper of the family, with a tender heart and a natural gift for caregiving. Whenever I need an extra set of hands, Evy is always willing to step in. She has also become my photography helper since her sister left the nest and began living her best life. I love that she is willing to take some of her weekend breaks and come home to help. We have missed her funny, warm personality in the house. We are so proud of her and the brave young women she has become!
COLLIN DARICK
Collin, 17 is our youngest and only boy. He is a big help-whether he is playing with the dogs, taking care of the outdoor chores, or stepping in whenever he is needed. Collin attends school online from home, and we love having him around more and making memories together. He enjoys running, playing chase and fetch with the puppies, football, golf, video games, and hunting and fishing with his dad and grandpa. He has been driving for a year and it has been a blessing to watch him gain independence. We can can't wait to see where God leads this sweet, tenderhearted young man!
